The Soundabout: News

I have starting some recording of new tracks. These are instrumental songs, featuring mainly solo guitar. I've been toying with this idea for a while, and have finally decided these tunes need a home. This will most likely be released as a very limited EP. Recording of a full length, full band production will also begin this year. I am going to send this one out with a bang.
I will post some mixes soon and let you hear what is going on.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our recent show. We had a fantastic time. It was great to play these songs with a full band after several years of solo shows. I might just have to convince these guys to do it again soon.
Life has been busy, but I am continuing to work on new songs and hope to do some recording before the year is over. I will be in touch soon. Daniel.

I am excited to let you know The Soundabout will be playing a live show, May 22 at Universal Bar & Grill. It has been a long time since this music has been played with a full band, and thanks to past and present Soundabout collaborators Greg Paxton, Dave Beery, and Andy Zacharias, we will be able to do just that.
This will be fun.

One more song posted in the music section. This is a tune called Young Love. It was a staple in the live set for a while, recorded with Greg Paxton on drums, Dave Beery on bass, and Daryl Boggs on lead guitar.
I thought this recording was lost, but Greg just handed me the old session discs, so I pulled up the mix and made a copy for your enjoyment.
